RisingMVP LLC ("RisingMVP," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through our websites, applications, and related services (the "Services").

RisingMVP provides software for sports organizations, parents and guardians, and authorized users to manage athlete information, registrations, communications, payments, and related administration. RisingMVP does not itself operate or supervise sporting events or athletic programs.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:

Account and contact information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, account credentials, and organization or school affiliations.
Athlete and participant information: names, dates of birth, sports, teams, divisions, schools, grade levels, athletic profile details, and registration or roster information supplied by parents, guardians, or organizations.
Guardian information: names, contact details, relationship to a participant, and addresses provided during registration or checkout.
User content: photos, videos, documents, messages, and other content uploaded or submitted through the Services.
Payment and subscription information: purchases, prices, billing status, transaction references, payment-plan information, and subscription selections. Payment card information is processed by payment providers as described below.
Technical information: device and browser details, IP addresses, authentication events, usage data, crash reports, and performance logs.

Health and Safety Information

Some sports organizations may request participant health or safety details as part of their registration process, including medical conditions, allergies, prior injuries, medications, emergency contacts, or physician information. The organization determines what information it requests and whether particular fields are required for its program. RisingMVP processes information submitted through those forms to support registration and program administration, including emergency preparedness.

We do not sell health and safety information or use it for advertising. We use access controls designed to limit access to people authorized to administer the relevant program. The organization may determine which of its authorized personnel can access information submitted through its registration forms.

Payments

Payments are processed through third-party providers, including Stripe and Stripe Connect, and, where applicable, mobile subscription providers. RisingMVP does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes in its application database. We may retain payment-related records such as transaction identifiers, amounts, status, fees, refunds, and timestamps to administer the Services and satisfy legal obligations.

Organizations may offer registration fees, products, payment plans, and other charges through the Services. The responsible seller or merchant, allocation of payment-processing responsibilities, and settlement of funds depend on the specific payment flow and connected-account configuration. The identity of the seller and applicable payment terms may vary by transaction and will be reflected in the relevant checkout or transaction documentation.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate and secure the Services; manage accounts, athlete records, rosters, registrations, subscriptions, and payments; support organization communications; send transactional notices and opted-in notifications; respond to support requests; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal requirements; and analyze performance and usage to improve the Services. Optional AI-assisted functionality is described in Section 4.

RisingMVP does not provide medical, coaching, or athletic advice or guarantee recruitment or athletic outcomes.

3. Sharing, Visibility, and Service Providers

We may disclose information to the sports organizations and authorized users involved in relevant programs or transactions; to vendors supporting our Services; when required by law; to protect users, the Services, or legal rights; or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

We use service providers, which may include the following, to support our Services:

Athlete Profiles and Organization Access

Athlete information may be visible to the athlete's parent or guardian, relevant organization personnel, and other authorized recipients depending on the feature and permissions in use. Organization rosters, tournament participation, and administrative workflows may involve information entered by organization staff before a parent has connected an account.

Visibility depends on the feature, account permissions, and applicable privacy choices. Some features may make limited participant or team information available to other authorized participants in an event or program. We will provide any additional notices or obtain authorization where required by law.

Health and safety details are collected for program administration and safety purposes, not for public athlete profiles or promotional displays.

Organizations' Responsibilities

Organizations may determine which registration fields they request, how they administer their programs, and which authorized staff members require access. Where RisingMVP processes information on an organization's behalf, responsibilities for notices, consent, and privacy requests depend on applicable law and the parties' roles. RisingMVP also determines purposes for some processing of its own, such as platform security, billing, support, and service analytics. These responsibilities should be read alongside the organization's own privacy notices, where applicable.

4. Optional AI-Assisted Features

If enabled, AI-assisted features may use information relevant to a user's authorized request to generate responses or summaries. Certain request content may be transmitted to an AI service provider, including Anthropic, to deliver that functionality.

We aim to limit information shared with AI service providers to what is needed for the requested feature. Users should avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information into free-text AI requests. AI providers process information according to the applicable service agreements and privacy terms.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, support legitimate operational needs, comply with applicable legal and financial requirements, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Retention periods may vary by data category, organization relationship, and legal obligation. Information in backups and logs may be removed on a different schedule than active records.

Parents or guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's information by contacting hello@risingmvp.com. We may need to verify the requester's identity and authority and coordinate with the relevant organization. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable law; some records may need to be retained for legal, financial, safety, or compliance reasons. Users may also request deletion of their own account and associated personal information through the contact method below, or through in-app deletion controls where offered.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, and disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security. Where required by law, we will notify affected individuals and regulators of qualifying security incidents within applicable deadlines.

7. Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information, and to exercise other privacy choices. Parents and legal guardians may also have rights regarding information about their children.

To submit a request, email hello@risingmvp.com with enough information for us to identify the relevant account or organization. We may verify your identity and, when necessary, your parental or legal authority before acting. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You may opt out of optional communications using the controls provided in those messages or through available account settings.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are designed primarily for parents and guardians, coaches, sports organizations, and other authorized adult users. Athlete records may contain personal information about minors, including children under 13. Organizations may submit roster or registration information before a parent has created or connected an account.

We seek to limit the collection and use of children's information to legitimate service and program purposes, restrict access appropriately, and provide mechanisms for parents or guardians to ask questions or exercise applicable rights.

We recognize that children's information requires additional protections. Where applicable law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), requires parental notice or consent, we or the relevant organization will seek to provide that notice or obtain the required consent, as appropriate to the service and the parties' responsibilities. Parents and guardians may contact us to inquire about information relating to their child.

9. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as authentication and, where enabled, analytics and performance measurement, including Google Analytics. We do not use these technologies for third-party behavioral advertising. Where required by applicable law, we provide cookie choices or other privacy controls.

10. International Processing

Information may be processed in jurisdictions other than where you live. When required, we use applicable legal mechanisms and safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version with an updated effective or revision date. For changes requiring additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide that notice or obtain that consent before the change takes effect as required.
