This Refund & Dispute Policy applies to the use of the RisingMVP platform operated by RisingMVP LLC ("RisingMVP", "we", "our", or "us").

RisingMVP provides a software platform used by sports organizations to manage registrations, communications, and payments. RisingMVP does not operate sports programs or events and is not the seller of goods or services offered by organizations using the platform.

1. Merchant of Record

Sports organizations using the RisingMVP platform are the merchant of record for all registrations, products, services, and fees sold through their organization pages or payment links.

RisingMVP LLC acts solely as a technology provider facilitating payment processing through third-party payment processors such as Stripe, including Stripe Connect where applicable.

Payments are processed directly into the organization's connected Stripe account.

2. Refund Policies Set by Organizations

Each sports organization is responsible for establishing and enforcing its own refund policies.

Refund eligibility, cancellation policies, and deadlines are determined solely by the organization offering the registration, service, or product.

Parents, guardians, or purchasers seeking a refund must contact the organization directly.

RisingMVP LLC does not determine refund eligibility for organization transactions.

For physical products, each organization is also responsible for establishing return and exchange policies, processing returns, and managing shipping logistics. RisingMVP LLC does not accept, process, or manage product returns.

3. Platform Subscription Fees

In some cases, RisingMVP may charge subscription fees or platform access fees to organizations for use of software features.

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement:

Subscription payments are non-refundable
Subscription plans may renew automatically based on the selected billing cycle
Organizations may cancel future renewals according to the cancellation procedures provided in their account

4. Payment Processing Fees

Payment processing fees are charged by third-party payment processors such as Stripe.

These fees are separate from RisingMVP platform fees and are determined by the payment processor.

Processing fees may be deducted from the transaction amount before funds are deposited into the organization's Stripe account.

RisingMVP LLC does not control or refund payment processing fees.

5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a purchaser files a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or credit card provider:

The dispute will be handled by the merchant of record (the organization)
The organization is responsible for responding to the dispute
The organization is responsible for any associated chargeback fees

RisingMVP LLC may assist organizations by providing transaction records or system logs when requested.

However, RisingMVP LLC is not responsible for the outcome of chargeback disputes.

6. Fraud Prevention

RisingMVP LLC may monitor transactions for suspected fraud, abuse, or violations of platform policies.

If suspicious activity is detected, RisingMVP may:

Temporarily suspend transactions
Restrict account access
Request verification from the organization
